Hydro swelling profiles for Construction Joints
Sika Swell S2 is a joint sealing profile on base of EPDM – rubber with hydro-swelling property for waterproofing of construction joints.

Mono types: Highly swellable
• SikaSwell-2003/-2005/-2003 M/-2005 M: Box with roll of 1 x 10 m or 7 x 20 m
• SikaSwell-2010: Box with roll of 1 x 10 m or 5 x 10 m
Hybrid types: Dual swellable with stabilising inner core
• SikaSwell-2010 H: Box with roll of 1 x 10 m or 5 x 10 m
• SikaSwell-2507 H/-2507 HM with pressure relief chambers: Box with roll of 1 x 10 m or 5 x 10 m
System
• SikaSwell Profiles are made of hydrophilic swelling rubber and therefore expand in contact with water

Uses of Sika Swell S2
• Sealing of:
- Construction joints
- Pipe and steel work penetrations through walls and floor slabs
- Around all types of penetrations and pipe entries
- Channel sections
Sealing of construction joints
Fix or bond the SikaSwell Profiles in the centre of the concrete section. Ensure minimum cover on both sides of the concrete:
- Reinforced concrete min. 10 cm
- Non-reinforced concrete min. 15 cm
Sealing of construction joints: Very easily by bonding the profile onto the hardened concrete with Sika Swell S-2. This is great joint sealant on base Polyurethane with hydro-swelling property for waterproofing of construction joints
